Maha Guru Sri Agasthiar, the founder of the Agasthiar lineage of Siddha Sathgurus, is the omnipresent Siddha manifestation of Lord Siva.

Sri Agasthiar, together with his consort Sri Lobha Matha Devi, adorns the first and foremost peedam (seat) of the Siddhas.

For countless aeons, this leader of Siddhas has been toiling for our spiritual welfare. Through his lineage of Siddha teachers, Sri Agasthiar is eternally involved in spreading the divine message in all corners of the universe for the spiritual upliftment of all beings.

"Adi Moola Sri Agasthiar Bhagavan Moola Stuti."

It is also a mantra that requests the darshan of Maha Guru Agasthiar. You can use it to request Maha Guru Agasthiar to give you his darshan – a darshan that is so difficult to get that even the Siddhas yearn for it for ages!

This mantra was given to the world by the Arunachala Mantra Siddha, Sathguru Venkataraman, of the Agasthiar Siddha Lineage in the January 1993 issue of Sri Agasthia Vijayam, the Sathguru's monthly magazine.

Sathguru Venkataraman taught us that this mantra was first invoked by Mother Asha Suvasini Devi and by Lord Shiva Himself to initiate the avatar of Adi Moola Sri Agasthiar Bhagavan.

This mantra is also known as the Adi Moola Sri Agasthiar Bhagavan Moola Stuti in the Agasthiar Moola Nadi, the foundational Naadi work of Maha Guru Agasthiar that Sathguru Venkataraman sang at will to explain many a spiritual mystery.

He who is within Shiva
He who manifested himself from Shiva
He who gave names to the countless forms of Shiva
He who pervades thoughts
He who purifies thoughts
He who is Purity Incarnate
My son Agasthia! Come forth!
Important! When you chant this mantra, you are repeating the words first spoken by Mother Asha Suvasini Devi and Lord Shiva Themselves. You are not referring to Maha Guru Agasthiar as your son; you are only repeating the words of the Mother and Lord Shiva, who referred to Maha Guru Agasthiar as Their son.
This mantra is most powerful. So chant it daily as many times as you can.

Agasthiar is part and parcel of Shiva.
He is one with Shiva.
He is Shiva.
To work for the spiritual upliftment of all beings, Agasthiar took form and manifested himself from Shiva.
It was Agasthiar who gave names to the countless forms of Shiva.
Agasthiar pervades the thoughts of those who think of him.
Pervading the thoughts of those who meditate on him, Agasthiar purifies their thoughts.
Agasthiar is Purity Incarnate. He is the sum total of all purity. He is the symbol of everything that is pure and pristine.
The Universal Mother in Her manifestation as Asha Suvaasini Devi and Lord Shiva Himself refer to this Personified Purity as Their Son. It is They who initiated the Avatar of the Maha Guru.

The Power of this Thought Purification Mantra

There are those who say that they are affected by all kinds of thoughts. There are some who say that they are assailed by unwanted thoughts and some who say that they get bad thoughts even if they don't want to get them. Such people can be helped a great deal by this thought purifying mantra of Maha Guru Agasthiar.

Since this is the avatar mantra of the Maha Guru himself, a very respectful attitude must be maintained while chanting this mantra.
