The purpose of this website is to help persons improve their wine appreciation. Our search maps push the best wines anywhere. These two items require independence from the business — in our opinion.

Vineyards at Beaumes-de-Venise
The articles include brief personal tasting notes on vibrant wines, side trips to Italy, sage advice on wine collecting, on food and wine pairing, on vintages, a photo gallery, maps of where to find the best natural wines, etc.

This site is completely independent: there is no commercial arrangement with any alcohol company. A wine or vintner is recommended because of their sheer interest.

I got into a wine passion slowly — by realizing that there was always more to understand, and that it was a pleasure to get to know winemakers better.

Statistics

About two thousand persons a day use the site more than 30 seconds (twice as many as the French-speaking version of the site). There are about 2000 subscribers to the newsletter.

Privacy

This website makes continous efforts to avoid knowing about your location. Some data persist in your computer, even hand-held, notably in "cookies". You may suppress them by going to the parameters of your browser. My system uses them to propose shopping areas.

Another trick is to use the IP address necessary for your connection to the internet.
