Colchester United complete Karl Duguid return

Duguid is seventh in Colchester's all-time appearance list
Colchester United have signed former midfielder Karl Duguid on a one-year deal, after a three year absence from the U's.
The 33-year-old made his U's debut in 1996 and went on to feature 442 times before joining Plymouth 10 years later, external.
He has been training with Colchester this summer following his release from Home Park.
"He has good experience and knows the club pretty well," boss John Ward told the club website, external.
"It was not something that was in our minds - mine or Karl's - when he came here to train at the start of pre-season.
"But we've had a chat and agreed on a one-year deal for Karl to bolster the squad."
The former U's captain, who led the Essex side to promotion to the Championship in 2006, featured 115 times for Plymouth during his three years at the club.
