Your comment will be deleted and you will be given only one warning.
  • Religion is allowed as it is a serious issue concerning death and loss.
The afterlife is believed to have taken many forms. But do NOT preach to others
if they do not wish to hear it.

Creating this community was inspired by Kyra - DarkNekoRaven's passing. She was a dear friend to many and will be missed.

"Arrayed in some new fleshly disguise,
Another mother gives birth.
With sturdier limbs and brighter brain,
The old soul takes the road again."

"Only when you drink from the river of silence,
Shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountaintop,
Then shall you begin to climb.
And when the Earth has claimed your limbs,
Then shall you truly dance."

"It is always sad to see another spark of Life snuffed out.
Especially when their Time upon this earth has just begun.
Joyful was their entrance into this world, without a doubt,
Sorrow shall be felt as they leave this plane, to move onward
Where we yet imagine what is after the final door.

"But sorrow should not fill our souls, as we have memories.
Memories of better times, when that spark was burning bright.
Full of laughter and cheer, these times we shall hold dear.
Time shall pass, hurts shall heal, but never, shall we forget our friends."

"Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle Autumn's rain.

"When you wake to the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush,
Of quiet birds' circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.

"Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die."

"All of nature goes in cycles. Things are born, blossom, wither and die. When spring comes, life ascends through the dark soil again, rested and revigorated. We are a part of nature."
