Revolution Rock, The Only Website From Jersey That Matters™, has a new Forums page, where you can sign the guestbook, talk about The Clash and each of its members post-Clash careers, nab some funky wallpapers for your desktop, discuss world affairs, chat about music NOT Clash related, or, post all of your random fragmented thoughts in the 'Anything and Everything Else' forum. A bonus for you casual posters - you don't have to register to post on the forum. Just click on a new thread or a post you'd like to reply to, et voila. But because it will be under anonymous, you may want to try to remember to sign your name. Your call, though! Simple & easy. The forums only went up early this morning, so they need people like you to break them in. Even if you have no current burning questions about The Clash or anything related (and if you do, the Webmaster knows everything and more on the subject and will be more than happy to answer anything), there are loads of other forums on the page that can be applicable to you. And remember, if you're shy, atleast sign the guestbook and let my mate know what you think of the website. Cheers! Sun, Jun. 12th, 2005, 06:27 pm

Artists supporting the work of Rise Phoenix include: Quentin Blake, Clive Francis, Bella Freud, Siobhan Hapaska, David Hare, Nadav Kander, Harvey Keitel, Mark Knopfler, David Morrissey, Sir Alan Parker, Lord Richard Rogers, Gerald Scarfe, PAUL SIMONON, Suggs, and Sophie Von Hellerman. The Rise Phoenix Art Auction takes place at the chapel in Garbutt Place, W1 from 19.00hrs - 22.00hrs and will raise funds to continue and expand its work with disadvantaged children in London and Tanzania. Rise Phoenix uses the arts to give children the skills and inspiration to create change for themselves and their communities. In 1993 the charity started as an impassioned response to the wars in the former Yugoslavia, bringing theatre and travelling giant puppet shows to the refugee camps and bomb stricken towns. Today its work with over 1500 children a year includes theatre and film projects, mosaics and murals on housing estates, carnival processions, environmental arts camps and creative workshops with HIV/Aids orphans in Dar Es Salaam. Rise Phoenix is funded by The Arts Council, The Community Fund and other grant-making bodies including The Roald Dahl Foundation and The Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts. One of its long-time friends is Emma Thompson, also head sponsor of Rise Phoenix¹s work in Tanzania. Other friends of the charity include Sir Alan Ayckbourn, Esther Freud, David Hare, Doris Lessing, Fay Maschler and Linus Roache. www.risephoenix.org Fri, Apr. 22nd, 2005, 10:23 pm
