⚑ winGetDebloated

winGetDebloated is a batch script which uninstalls all unnecessary Windows 10 and Windows 11 applications using the winGet package manager

πŸ’» What is winget?

Winget is an official Microsoft package manager which can be used to install or uninstall programs. It's like the Microsoft Store but in command line making it quicker to install applications by just launching the command prompt.

πŸš€ Installation of this Tool

  1. Click on the green button called Code up on this page
  2. Download the zip and extract it
  3. Open a command prompt and type in winget -v to know if you have winget. If not, down below is a guide on how to install winget
  4. If you have winget, open up the .bat file wingetdebloated.bat

⚠️ By launching the script a windows pop up will occur called Windows protected your PC, click on "More info" and Run anyway. The script is safe you can read the source code yourself. The reason this warning occurs is because the script is uninstalling programs

πŸ‘Ύ How do I install winget?

Requirements

Windows 10 1709 (Build 16299) or above (including Windows 11)

Installation

  1. Click here to Download or Update winget
  2. If everything is successful launch the script

*A microsoft account is NOT required for the installation of winget, close the login window if needed

🍡 What will it uninstall?

Edge (will ask if you want to uninstall it), Cortana, Skype, Microsoft Teams, Xbox Applications (Xbox App, Game overlay, ...), Groove-Music, Feedback-Hub, Microsoft Tips, 3D-Viewer, Paint-3D, Weather App, Mail and Calendar, Your Phone App, Contacts App, Microsoft Pay/Wallet, Microsoft Maps, Office, OneNote, Windows Sound recorder, Movies & TV app, Mixed Reality-Portal App, Sticky Notes, Get Help app, OneDrive, Microsoft Solitaire Collection

Windows 11: All of the above and Microsoft To do, Power Automate, Microsoft News

You can reinstall any of these apps using the Microsoft Store or Winget
