Welcome to the first Alpha release of OpenOTDR.

WARNING:
This is a pre-release of OpenOTDR intended for testing and evaluation.
Do not use this software in production.
Also be aware that no upgrade path is provided for future releases.

This release is provided for evaluation and testing of key features and to elicit feedback on usability.
We have a large clean-up/refactoring planned so please refrain from submitting pull requests at this time.

BREAKING CHANGES

It's no longer written in Python, we've rewritten OpenOTDR completely from scratch in C# 12 (with .Net 8)
The old project file format is deprecated and will not be supported
