Feature Description

Intuitively I always attempt to close it by clicking on the empty area, but this doesn't do anything. What's even worse, once you click outside of it the focus gets lost, so you can no longer close it with escape either, so you have to refocus and then hit escape. So I end up doing a triple take just to close the search menu

Steps how to use this feature

1.Have command palette open
2.Click on the empty area around it
3.Command palette closes
