I confirm:

• that I haven't found an existing compatibility report for this game.
• that I have checked whether there are updates for my system available.

Symptoms

The latest launcher update will crash the launcher on launch. It will add the icon to the systemtray for 2-3 seconds before it vanishes again.
This happens both on CachyOS and on NixOS.
This is not an issue on Windows.
Unfortunately I cannot say which version it is as it keeps crashing.
It is NOT the version you can download. You'll get a notification that there's a launcher update and once you do, it no longer starts (but randomly does start, at least on NixOS). Prior to the latest launcher update, the launcher worked just fine.

Reproduction

Download Installer from Website, install game, update launcher, restart from steam
