The spec says:

If a client has access to environment variables, several standard ones exist to specify the language in which a client should operate. If not, then clients MUST make reasonable assumptions based on the information provided by the environment in which they operate (e.g. consulting navigator.languages in a browser, etc.).

Ranger may be implementing this already, in which case a link to the documentation place would be appreciated.

Given that ranger starts a "preview process", pass keys, or commands, from ranger to the preview process, mangling them if necessary, and update the preview.

Right now we can create custom configuration based on presets, however I think it would be worth allowing custom presets also.
This would mean opening up the Preset interface so for example a framework could maintain their own Preset file and users can then use the preset, just by pointing
