Summary

I’m trying to use a Chart Repository by external Nexus, but I’d a problem in pipeline when I’m using the command:

jx step helm release

When this command do the upload chart file, my $CHART_REPOSITORY is changing and including the /api/charts

The GitHub Integration just fails with a GitHub Error Response if your Issue Comment gets too long.

It’d be great if we truncated the message, & added a [truncated] 📝?

Discussions in issues are ok but when the issue is closed it is not easily available to newcomers.

Write how-to pages resuming the solutions described in issues and troubleshooting for common issues and misunderstandings.

Follow-up to jenkinsci/jenkinsfile-runner#252 . Currently Jenkinsfile Runner downloads plugins via HTTP in order to get plugins from mirrors. It would be great to change defaults to HTTPs.

I would expect that runtime plugin downloads are not actively used, but it still worth fixing it.

Currently, if the user who created a DotCi job does not have access to the repository anymore, builds fail instantly with cryptic output suggesting that the account was suspended.

We should explain that the user who created the job has lost access, and that the current user should nagivate to the new dotci job page and click 'use my login to access github'

Jenkins does NOT accept build parameters are a JSON body payload.. it only accepts them as query parameters.

job.Invoke needs to be modified to handle this.
