I'm just starting out in using DefectDojo, and am a bit confused on what the Tool Type and Tool Configuration sections inside Configuration. I know that documentation is something DefectDojo prides itself on, and I greatly appreciate the breadth of it... but I can't seem to find this documented anywhere.

I think that you are doing a very necessary system and your idea is cool, but at the moment it has a lot of bugs. From what I noticed, the assets do not understand the ascii characters and the system crashes. In addition, I did not find a description of the API, I would like to integrate your system into TheHive, or rather make it possible to view information about an asset in TheHive. I believe t

The Readme documentation for openvas engine advise to use the docker image mikesplain/openvas but this version is old with gmpv7. Engine-openvas.py imports gvm.protocols.latest which works with the latest version of openvas (gvm11). I see two options:

  • Point to the docker image securecompliance/gvm which provides a version 11. In this case you will have to modify the docker image to star

The RNC file /build/doc/gmp.rnc is ok when used for documentation purposes only, but when it is used to autogenerate XML classes (e.g. in Java) for communication with gvmd it has several issues.

  • element ERROR undefined
  • element sources undefined
  • get_filters_response_filters is defined twice
  • create_report's element report contains sub-element report. This is allowed following XML stand

J'essaye d'installer Patrowl mais j'ai quelque soucis. Je n'utilise pas docker pour l'installation.

Pulled the latest version,
Installed with docker run -d -p 127.0.0.1:9392:9392 --name gvm securecompliance/gvm

Logs show that login was successful, but I keep getting presented with the login page. I cannot manually navigate to any of the deeper URIs.
