Isn't just enough to not use babel and etc? Why we need this and ES6 syntax and imports at all. It is just overhead. With that we can just remove babel from deps and they will look more clean.

I noticed that you forgot to document in the readme.md the other way to listen to events, using the eventMap.

It would be nice if all GIFs had nice resolution without distortions from some compression. They should be less than 1MB with no distortions, glitches and weird chromatic variations.
