we've been addding contributors for a while (eg typescript-cheatsheets/react#332)

but i havent really done much to recognize them on our docsite. I'd love to add links and faces to people! someone take this and propose however you want to do it if you wish

Currently, we manually append the params to the url / query string using urljoin. Instead, we can send the query params in as a dictionary

Not sure what this would entail yet, but it would likely be a better way to reduce some of the boilerplate of opening an issue.
