Trying to --appimage-extract-and-run a x86_64 Linux AppImage on FreeBSD 12.1-RELEASE-p8 with the Linux compatibility layer:

mkdir_p error: Permission denied
Failed to extract AppImage

but

user@FreeBSD$  /home/user/Downloads/Akira-26-x86_64.AppImage --appimage-extract

But there does not appear to be anything in the UI to indicate

Use case

The canvas resizing feature lets me manually type in the size of the canvas in pixels. It would be useful to have a function/button to set this to the available window space, i.e. the size of the window minus all the toolbars. This would allow me to immediately use the most of my screen sp

User reported that folders that start with # and _ seem to scan fine, but the thumbnails do not show up.

1. Replicate to confirm if this happens, maybe check folders that start with . too 🤷‍♂️
2. Fix 😅
