Motivation
I often use this pattern for GeoJSON sources:
- addSource('mysource', { type: 'geojson', data: { type:'FeatureCollection', features: [] }});
- addLayer({ id: 'mylayer', source: 'mysource' })
- Now fetch the actual data, manipulate it, and call setData() to set it.
