Search engines get a server rendered page located at https://github.com/owncast/owncast/blob/develop/static/metadata.html.tmpl. While it does its job making sure Owncast instances show up in search indexes, some of the phrases on this page show up in search results and look weird, so I'm wondering if there's a more optimal set of data we can render as HTML that does a better job. For slack to work as a notification channel, a webhook URL is necessary. Users should not be able to save the alert channel without providing webhook URL.

As I was running composer to install a new library into our repo, it warned me that:

Package yzalis/identicon is abandoned, you should avoid using it. No replacement was suggested.

I'm not familiar on what packagist.org's process is to declare a package abandoned. I see that the last commit in their repo is from 2019 and there are a number of unanswered issues and pull requests.
