It happens to me sometimes when something in my config breaks and the default rc loads, I then do some changes and use the main menu to click Restart, to reload the wm, but instead I move too quickly and click Exit, exiting the wm and all my applications.

Here's my idea: Make Exit contain a subentry called "Are you sure?" or something like that. So to exit you don't only need to hover Exit but

Describe the bug
All switchers will stuck if a single key is used to trigger task switch.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Enable plugin switcher or fast switcher
  2. Set the switch key to a single key (like <F3>)
  3. Use the switcher, the switcher will stuck and Wayfire have to be killed

Expected behavior
Not stuck

As mentioned in #226 it would be helpful to have an option to see all the time which window is currently in focus. A permanent border with a configurable width and color would be nice for this.

The FocusIndicator which is currently used to indicate the focus of a window is controlled by a timer only and not suitable for this.

I put some of my virtual desktops in floating mode and I wish in workspace rules there should be an option for virtual desktops too.
so that after every reboot I should not manually make that desktop floating.
