JavaScript

JavaScript (JS) is a lightweight interpreted or JIT-compiled programming language with first-class functions. While it is most well-known as the scripting language for Web pages, many non-browser environments also use it, such as Node.js, Apache CouchDB and Adobe Acrobat. JavaScript is a prototype-based, multi-paradigm, dynamic language, supporting object-oriented, imperative, and declarative (e.g. functional programming) styles.

This happens very infrequently, but would be great to make this automated
Follow up to nodejs/Release#576
For me it would make a lot of sense to run check
in watch mode.
I think that adding check subcommand was a great idea, and running it in watch mode would provide the best development experience (at least for me). Also if I'm not mistaken it would check further edits faster, as typescript compiler is already warmed up after the first check.

As explained in microsoft/TypeScript#2548, the following code is not correct when useDefineForClassFields: false
, which is the default for targets before ES2021.
const x = 1
class C {
p = x
constructor(x: string) { }
}
However, when useDefineForClassFields: true
, there shouldn't be an error here.
Expected: No error 2301 on `private p =

Describe the bug
In Firefox, the zoom feature uses transform
styles (see storybookjs/storybook#12845) - unfortunately this breaks positioning on elements that require position: fixed
when in the "Docs" view.
Normally a position: fixed
element's position would correspond to the viewport but in Firefox it corresponds to the element with the transform
style.
