I think the Carbon project would welcome a proposal to add an explicit syntax that forces a tail call. This is aligned with our goals of predictable performance and giving the user explicit control.
My syntax suggestion: tail return F(...);

Whiskers' regex looks for <..>
as opposed to tokenizing the input, so it is not able to detect truncated/mistyped input.
For example it can't detect that <!b
is not terminated in<?b> X <!b Y </b>
.
With some heuristics it could be improved: match for <?
, <!
and </
and only allow identifiers which are terminated with >
, otherwise it is invalid.

and TEST_SHARD_INDEX
environment variables, and indicate support for sharding by touching the file named in the

There is constexpr, consteval but constinit is not described.

Describe the bug
See example here
When the flag -flto
is given to add link-time optimization, it seems that (at least for g++ and clang++; I have not tested others), the output of the assembly changes to something which is not legible.
Steps to reproduce
- Visit godbolt.org
- Create some C++ script
- Add a compiler window.
- When compilin

Animation frames from AoE2 graphics files are packed into a texture atlas by the openage converter. We use bin packing to find the optimal arrangement (= smallest atlas dimensions) of the frames in the atlas. Bin packing becomes computationally intensive if a lot of frames are packed (look

Would love to be able to assign different colors to different hooks in a custom IPC module
That could probably be done by supporting format-X
for every hook-X
and have format-X
inherit from format
