The indoor and outdoor swimming pools in Leppävaara are among the most popular sports facilities in Espoo. The renovated swimming complex was opened in 2016. There are pools available for every taste.
There are both normal saunas and steam saunas.
Visitors can participate in virtual Hydrohex aqua fitness classes in the therapy pool; the classes are included in the swimming pool entrance fee.
An area of 5 x 25 metres in the diving pool is reserved for aquajoggers.

Large pool: 25 m, 8 lanes, depth 1.35-2.2 m, water temperature 27 °C.
Teaching pool: 8 x 16 m, depth 0-0.8 m, water temperature 27 °C.
Multi-purpose pool area:
Therapy pool 10 x 17 m, depth 0.9-1.5 m, water temperature 31 °C.
2 hot tubs, water temperature 31 °C.
Cold water pool: water temperature 8 °C.
Wading pool: water temperature 31 °C.
Diving pool area:
Diving pool: 15 x 25 m, depth 5 m, diving platforms at 3 and 5 metres, diving boards at 1 and 3 metres
The 6 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is less than 3.6 m.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated and it uses movement-guiding surface material.
The main entrance
The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with a motion sensor.
In the facility
The sports facilities are located on floor 1.
For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold a wheelchair; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. (The minimum dimensions for an accessible lift are width 1.1 m and depth 1.4 m.)
The service point has directions to the different facilities.
There is a heated storage area for wheelchairs and prams next to the entrance.
The facility has an accessible toilet on the entrance floor.
The customer service/cashier's desk is located on the entrance floor.
The customer service/cashier's desk can be found easily. The desk is accessible to customers standing only.
At the customer service/cashier's desk, you can borrow a wheelchair, shower wheelchair, rollator walker.
The facility features a quiet area for guide and aid dogs.
Dressing room, shower room and sauna
The dressing rooms are located on the same floor as the sports facilities.
The accessible dressing room is located in connection to the men's/women's dressing rooms. The door of the dressing room opens easily manually. In the dressing room, the door of the accessible section opens easily by hand.
The accessible dressing room features a dressing bench and sufficient room for an assistant. Good illumination and clear contrasts facilitate spatial perception. The numbering of the lockers is clearly legible and tangible by hand (embossed or Braille numbers). An accessible toilet is provided in connection to the men's/women's dressing room.
The shower room is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The door of the shower room opens easily manually.
The sauna is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The door opens easily manually.
The sauna has room for two wheelchairs. It is possible to move onto the lowest bench from the wheelchair. The upper benches can be accessed through easily navigable stepswith handrails.
Sports facilities
The large/deep pool features accessible entry via a pool lift or gently-sloping steps. The steps have handrails on both sides.
The children's pool features accessible entry via gently-sloping steps. The steps have handrails on both sides.
The teaching pool features accessible entry via a pool lift or gently-sloping steps. The pool lift can be used independently. The steps have handrails on both sides.
The whirlpool bath features accessible entry via gently-sloping steps. The steps have handrails on both sides.
An accessible toilet is available in the pool area.
Accessible pathways from the indoor areas to the outdoor pools are available.

The swimming time ends 40 minutes after the cash desk is closed. The hall is closed an hour after the cash desk is closed.

Leppävaara swimming pool will be closed during June 19 to July 13 2025. The pool will be opened again on Monday July 14 2025 at 07:00. The diving pool will be closed during 23 June-2 July, 2025. The diving pool will be opened again on Wed July 3 at 10:00.
