Reprints

We frequently receive requests for reprints of our content. Our general policies are outlined below and address any content on the website. If your situation is not specifically covered, please contact us directly to discuss reprints.

Academic

We typically encourage the use of our content by academic institutions; our articles (or portions thereof) have been incorporated into electrical engineering and computer science courses at UC Berkeley, Imperial College London and other institutions. We have several guidelines:

  • Your institution must be nonprofit. If not, then you fall under the ‘commercial’ section below.
  • Our content must not be posted online.
  • Our content must not be edited.
  • Our content must include a URL to the original location and copyright information.
Permission is required, please contact us so that we know who is using our articles or if you have any questions regarding the above.

Commercial

Commercial entities that wish to use our content must contact us directly. All requests must be approved by Real World Tech. This includes using any portions of our content in sales or marketing materials.

Personal

United States copyright law grants readers the right to make copies of our content for personal and private use (e.g. printing for offline reading). You may not republish any content online or in print, or distribute to others, without the explicit permission of Real World Tech.
