There is an issue with this item: Some Wikipedia pages have a definition that includes affinity, others a definition that excludes affinity. It's impossible to determine the correct statements like this. Sigur (talk) 13:59, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Affinity" is the kinship relation established by someone's marriage (excluding the marital relation itself) - ie "in-laws". The Enlish article "Kinship" clearly contains both. NisJørgensen (talk) 22:17, 20 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
